This year has been a total success with three wonderful and healthy mini horse foals. The little Queen, who was born in France at EBF, was the first to be born. She has already found a new owner and will stay in France as a future show horse and broodmare.
On May 10th, Fleurie gave birth to her eagerly awaited first foal. It is a beautiful filly, her color being the perfect mix of the two foals from last year. They are all sired by the same stallion. We’ve now covered a good portion of the Buckskin color range and this time got a Pinto to boot.
“Querida” is alert and curious, very interested in people and has a really cheeky little personality. She has all the makings to become a great all-round horse just like her dam.
After what felt like three sleepless months, Gem finally gave birth on May 28th. In a quick and uncomplicated birth, another filly was born just as hoped for. The color was not a surprise here, as the father is homozygous for black and tobiano. The fancy marking on the head – a lightning flash? – is also an eye-catcher.
“Quicksilver” is a copy of her wonderful dam in almost everything. She has great movement with a big stride and will certainly be an exciting pony for showing and breeding and everything else that is fun to do with a little horse.
